Outdoor environments

To us, good landscape architecture is about designing outdoor environments in a manner that unifies aesthetics and functionality.

The term landscape refers to all culture, ground and water areas, both in the city and on the countryside. Smaller areas, such as parks, plazas, gardens and street scenes, constitute different components in the landscape. The field of landscape architecture includes planning, figuration, projection and management of the landscape; as well as landscape planning and design of the outdoor environment.

Studies and programming by experienced landscape architects

Our landscape architects carry out studies in various phases, from preliminary sketches, 3D visualisation and proposal documents through to aesthetic design programs and maintenance plans for completed facilities.

Landscape analyses, aesthetic design programs, proposal documents, green plans and other more detailed studies are often used as supporting documentation, guidelines or governance documents in the upcoming project phase. These types of investigation and programs are used to specify the level of quality and design concept in multiple subprojects without losing the overall perspective.

Landscape design

Every project is unique and is based on the specific conditions of the site.

Ideas are developed by our landscape architects in preliminary sketches to be further developed from concept to construction documentation. We normally work on projects with colleagues/consultants with other areas of expertise such as architects and road planners. Routine projects include public spaces such as streets, squares, road environments, housing estates, industrial sites, schools, playgrounds, etc. We work nationwide but are based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Jönköping, Växjö and Norrköping.
