Pontarius Ranked First in the City of Malmö’s Framework Agreement for Project Management
PRESS RELEASE

Pontarius – the urban development consultancy integrating business development, legal, finance, environmental, management, and technology expertise – has been awarded a framework agreement as Project Manager for Implementation by the City of Malmö Real Estate and Streets Department. In the procurement process, Pontarius was ranked number one among all qualified bidders.
The framework agreement covers project management for investment projects within urban development and land development and enables Pontarius to be commissioned for assignments involving detailed design, construction implementation, and project governance throughout the implementation phase. The assignments may include everything from budget and cost control to coordination of consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders in complex urban development projects.
The City of Malmö procured the framework agreement to ensure access to qualified project managers for the implementation of investment projects within the city’s Real Estate and Streets Department. The estimated total value of the framework agreement amounts to approximately SEK 75 million during the contract period.
Being ranked number one in a procurement of this size and importance is a strong endorsement of the expertise, experience, and quality that Pontarius offers in project management and urban development. Malmö is one of Sweden’s fastest-growing cities, and we look forward to contributing to the delivery of important investment and urban development projects together with the municipality, says Anders Linné, Regional Director Öresund, Pontarius.
Through this framework agreement, Pontarius further strengthens its position as a leading advisor and project manager within urban development and the public sector in southern Sweden.
